Topic 2: assessing risk
Choose between being the lone worker, or being the person responsible for conducting risk assessments for lone workers, step by step guide to assessing risks. Who needs to assess risk?
Topic 3: precautions
Common precautions to consider, looking at a variety of scenarios.
Topic 4: dealing with difficult situations
What to do if someone becomes violent and/or aggressive, being assertive, danger code warnings, personal alarm systems.
Topic 5: personal safety
Precautions for taking journeys, and being out in public, especially at night.

Overview of contents
This e-learning course is suitable for anyone who works alone as any part of their work or voluntary activities. It includes who counts as a lone worker, what the law requires, assessing risk, taking precautions, dealing with difficult situations and personal safety.
Our lone worker training can be completed as a standalone course or as part of the full lone worker training course for managers which provides a level-3 certificate on completion.

Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007
This course is available as part of the flick subscription or to license for hosting on your own learning management system. A certificate will be available to download on successful completion (75% pass rate) of this course.
