How to reduce risk and remove hazards, common protective measures – fire detection and warning systems, escape routes, emergency lighting, requirements of fire signs, passive and active fire protection.

Course description
Overview of contents
This e-learning course is suitable for anyone who is required to know and understand their fire safety rights and responsibilities as a member of an organisation and holds the position of the responsible person within the organisation.
It includes the basics of fire safety, covering areas such as the P.A.S.S. technique and the specifics of fire safety laws, an introduction to risk assessments, and covers active and reactive responsibilities. This course also includes fire hazards, the nature of fire, and preventing and controlling fire. It also covers common protective measures and what to do to reduce hazards.
Our fire safety training course for the responsible person can be completed as a standalone course or as part of the full fire safety training course for managers, which provides a level-3 certificate on completion.
